Insight-based identity boosts NHS Trust profile
Working with Wrapped has enabled Research & Innovation at GMMH to understand the need to raise awareness of the department, produce engaging content on branded materials and create consistency in our messaging to different audiences. Wrapped has provided us with attractive and accessible templates, brand guidelines and a fresh look, which is already recognised across the organisation and further afield.
Seeking eyeballs and engagement
Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust’s brilliant Research & Innovation department does life-changing work – but to be most effective, it needs to be noticed.
Attracting the most appropriate study participants – not to mention the brightest researchers and innovators – doesn’t happen by accident. Messages have to stand out from the millions of pieces of information jostling for attention.
And in an NHS facing greater challenges than ever before, asking clinicians to notice and recall information over and above their considerable workload is a tough call.
Private sector savvy for public sector excellence
In commercial communications and campaigns, making money is the overriding driver. In the NHS, different objectives come into play. The key is to walk the tightrope that balances finely-honed customer attraction techniques with the sensitivities of the public sector.
Our extensive work with the NHS has given us plenty of experience in navigating its guidelines on brand use and accessibility, creating eye-catching materials within those constraints.
We started with in-depth evaluation of Research & Innovation’s various audiences. It’s always an honour to work with focus groups – and the service users, carers, clinicians, key staff and researchers we spoke to for this project were exceptional. Despite all the challenges facing them, they gave their time and thoughts generously and openly.
The result? A bright, eye-catching and versatile new identity to help Research & Innovation at GMMH to promote their life-changing work to end users, peers and the wider Trust. The team has a full suite of templates, designed to help pinpoint and emphasise the main elements they need to get their message across.
