We’re looking for a seasoned account management pro to help a team run their accounts and projects to the highest standards. You may not be a digital native but you won’t be fazed by the opportunity of learning about digital marketing as you go. In fact, you’ll enjoy the ride!

Wrapped’s digital marketing team is an exciting place to be right now. We’re a five-strong team of strategists, search engine marketing specialists, social media pros and content experts. Lots of plates are spinning and we have a whole raft of happy clients: we need an accomplished account manager to make those plates spin a bit more smoothly, so we can continue to grow.

You’ll work across the digital mix and – for many clients – closely with our creative design team. This position is a natural fit for a people-person: you’ll be tasking and checking in on the digital team daily, while account handling a clutch of lovely clients.

This role would suit an experienced account handler or a project planner, looking to further their career in an agency that combines brand planning with marketing and design to deliver exceptional results for exciting businesses.

Responsibilities & duties

  • Day-to-day management of tasks among the digital marketing team and between digital marketing clients.
  • Some task management into the creative design teams, as per client requirements. 
  • Acting as the ‘point person’ and making yourself well liked by key digital marketing clients. This means that you’ll be the person to update them on progress, capture new briefs, present ideas to them and handle any difficult conversations (they do happen, from time to time). Our clients include organisations in the consumer, healthcare, technology and professional services sectors.
  • Working closely with the agency directors to address any workflow challenges, to find the best solution.
  • Acting as the digital team’s eyes and ears, to pre-empt and remedy operational problems and escalate to team leaders for pastoral care.

Qualifications, skills & experience

  • A proven track record of managing multiple workflow streams marketing clients, ideally in an agency environment, for a number of years – essential.
  • Proven account handling skills, ideally in an agency environment, for a number of years – essential.
  • Excellent copywriting and proofing skills – essential.
  • Confident presentation skills – essential.
  • Excellent time management – essential.
  • Attention to detail – essential.
  • A drive to learn about digital marketing and keep up to date with digital marketing developments – essential

Job Type – full-time
Working Arrangements – hybrid: 50% from home and 50% from our studios based just outside of York
Nb we’re in a rural location so your own transport is essential for days in the office.
